This early round piece includes symmetrical imagery and masterful stitchwork.
Manilak's work is included in the collections of the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the Inuit Cultural Institute, the University of Alberta, and the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
The embroidery stitches used in this piece include: buttonhole, chain, detached chain, fly, cross and satin.
The inner border is the unique Rankin Inlet "leaves and vine" stitchwork motif.
